Dennis Wyatt Chaplin's Obituary
Dennis Wyatt Chaplin, 52, of 10 West Hampton Street, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Chaplin was born May 16, 1962 in Staunton, a son of the late Ray Phillip and Grace (Fitzgerald) Chaplin.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Chaplin was preceded in death by four brothers.
Dennis enjoyed collecting Elvis items and was a Dallas Cowboy fan.
Mr. Chaplin is survived by two sons, Dennis W. Chaplin and Dallas L. Chaplin; a daughter, Kelly Chaplin; a special niece and caregiver, Wendy Culpeper, all of Staunton; two brothers, Scott M. Chaplin of Waynesboro, and Phillip B. Chaplin of Charlottesville; four sisters, Iris Sprouse and Sandra Randhawa of Staunton, Dixie Condit of OK, and Donna Adkins of Bridgewater; two grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2014 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Eric Brown.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
