Delmar Frances (Layton) LaClair, 87, widow of Frank G. LaClair,
formerly of Bare Street passed away, Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Kings Daughters Community Health and Rehab in Staunton.
Mrs. LaClair was born in Bath County, Virginia on February 20, 1933, a daughter of the late Donnie and Mabel Layton.
Delmar was retired from (Augusta Medical Center) now Augusta Health and she loved and enjoyed her grandbabies.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. LaClair was preceded in death by a son, Danny LaClair; son-in-law, Steven Fauber; five siblings, brother, Buddy and four sisters, Anita, Ernie, Jodi, and Shirley.
Surviving are two daughters, Darla Fauber of Mt. Solon and Kimberly Button of Verona; a daughter-in-law, Nancy LaClair of Staunton; Mrs. LaClair was "Nannie" to eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be conducted in the Oaklawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens by Reverend William "Bill" Trice.
