Debra Darlene (Doyle) Michael, 72, widow of Robert Calvin Michael of Mount Sidney, passed away, Friday, October 16, 2026, at her residence.

Mrs. Michael was born in Warm Springs, Virginia, on October 18, 1953, a daughter of the late Carl Melvin Doyle, Sr. and Willo Odessa (Gutshall) Doyle.

Debra retired from Augusta Health as a receptionist/secretary, and she enjoyed eating out and having outings with her family.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Melvin Doyle, Jr. and a sister, Odessa Gay (Doyle) Shoemaker.

Surviving are two brothers, Dean Michael “Mike” Doyle and his wife Jean of Churchville and Kevin Mark Doyle and his wife Teresa of Fort Defiance; a sister, Joyce Marie (Doyle) Wilfong of Staunton; a sister-in law, Luberta (Hevener) Doyle and a number of nieces and nephews

A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2026 in Oaklawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Steve Bennett, Ronnie Bennett, Jeff Bennett, Dr. Justin Bennett, Justin Sereno, Jordan Sereno, Zachary Smith, and Tracy Doyle.

There will be no public viewing.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
