David Addison Senger, 61, husband of Jo Lynne Senger of 129 Morton Road, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 in University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville.
Mr. Senger was born May 13, 1953 in Harrisonburg, a son of Garold W. Senger, Sr. and the late Anna (Shull) Senger.
David was a member of Lebanon Church of the Brethren. He was retired from The Hershey Company with twenty-one years of service as a maintenance specialist, and was later employed by Degesch America as a consultant. Mr. Senger was a member of FMCA, he enjoyed motor homing, working in his shop and farming.
In addition to his father of Verona and his wife of thirty-nine years, survivors include a son, David Christian Chris Senger and wife Kristine of Garner, NC; three brothers, Garold W. Senger, Jr. and wife Karen of Mount Sidney, Donald Senger and wife Donna of Bridgewater, and John Senger and wife Linda of Churchville; a sister, Sue Jones and husband Roger of Weyers Cave; a granddaughter, Koralyn Marjorie Senger; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Lebanon Church of the Brethren by Pastor Matthew Fike.
The family will receive friends following the service.
