David Ruckman Campbell, 61, husband of Gloria Ann (Crumpton) Campbell of 36 College Circle passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Campbell was born on February 9, 1954 in Staunton, a son of the late William Price and Rosalee (Shirkey) Campbell.

David was an active member of Victory Worship Center. He had a warm and loving heart for children and he helped to lead the Childrens Church Ministry within the church. Mr. Campbell was an alumni of Rhema Bible College and was the founder and Pastor of the Triumphant Church in Charleston, South Carolina from 1996 to 2000. He was presently employed by the Augusta County School System and he enjoyed the outdoors and the beach.

Surviving in addition to his wife of thirty-two years, are two daughters,Rebecca Gardiner and husband Gavin and Anna Campbell both of Staunton; a brother, William Billy Campbell, III of Verona; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

A Memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 7, 2016 in Victory Worship Center by Pastor Ray Eppard.

The family will receive friends following the service.
