David Isaac "Buddy" Young, 18, son of David Allen Young and Stacey Lynn (Jarvis) Young, of Staunton, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023.

Mr. Young was born in Fishersville, Virginia on August 5, 2004.

Buddy was employed at Fisher Auto Warehouse. He was a risk taker and had an adventurous and independent spirit. Buddy enjoyed riding motorcycles and was always willing to help anyone in need. He loved his family and his friends.

Mr. Young was preceded in death by grandfathers, Dave "Pappy" Young and Wayne Jarvis and a grandmother, Jean Young.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, is a sister, Whitney Young; his girlfriend, whom he adored, Kateleen Armentrout; grandmothers, Shirley Young and Judy Allen and her husband, Rick; four aunts, Deborah Young and Bob Grubb, Tamara Jarvis, Cindy Cash and her husband, Temple, and Pam Cox; numerous cousins, including Amanda Young and Autumn Cox; numerous "brothers from another mother", including, Cris Thompson, Jordan Cooper, Maurice Johnson, and Charles McCauley; and his fur family, "Tucker", "Zeus" and his "beloved cat", J.B. III.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
