Danny Lee Eye, 44, husband of L. Renee Eye of 234 Sandy Ridge Road passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 from injuries sustained from a work related accident.
Mr. Eye was born on September 23, 1971 in Staunton, a son of Thurman Dillon Eye and the late Susan Paulette (Chandler) Fretwell.
Danny was a member of Destiny Family Center, was employed with Ken Clark Trucking in Stuarts Draft as a truck driver and was a member of the H.O.G. (Harley Owner Group). Danny and his wife Renee enjoyed riding their Harley motorcycles together and he loved spending time with his family, many friends and pet dog Dixie.
In addition to his mother, Danny was preceded in death by his mothers fianc, Van Wesley Bell.
Surviving in addition to his wife of nine years and his father of Staunton, is a brother, Randy N. Eye and his girlfriend Susan Painter of Raphine; a step-son, Travis A. Chandler and his wife Elisabeth of Highland County; and two nephews, Dallas M. Eye and his wife Melanie and Nathan N. Eye.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2016 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence.
A Celebration of life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2016 in the Destiny Family Center by Pastor Chuck Balsamo.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Tommy Clark, Mark Montgomery, Eric Stewart, Destry Brooks, Jason Wilfong, Glenn Sheets, Bill Cline and Eric Johnston.
