Danny Wayne Brooks, 45, husband of Angela Lynn Brooks of 74 Hunter Road passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Brooks was born on June 9, 1970 in Staunton, a son of Donnie Elwood and Patsy Lee (Waybright) Brooks.
Danny was employed by Target Distribution as a loader. He enjoyed playing corn hole, horseshoes, shooting pool, and spending time with his family and his two dogs. He will be remembered as a man that never knew a stranger by his many loving and caring friends.
In addition to his parents of Staunton and his wife of sixteen years, survivors include two sons, Dakota Brooks and Anthony Brooks-Bryant of Verona; and a sister, Christine Chaplin and her husband Walter of Staunton.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2016 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Celebration of life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Don Cash.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be David McAllister, Terry Bartley, Michael Butter Toye, Shawn Stokes, Billy Taylor, Ricky Trainum, Rodney Wood, Donnie Arey, Brandon Brasuel and Herman McCarthy.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
