Daniel Lee Knight

STAUNTON:

Daniel Lee Little Danny Knight, 24, husband of Amber Nichole (Houston) Knight of 617 Grubert Avenue, Staunton passed away Tuesday, (May 26, 2009) at his residence.
Mr. Knight was born December 6, 1984 in Staunton, the son of Douglas Edward and Tammy Susan (Riley) Knight.
Danny worked as a fabricator at Halls Industries and was a member of the Staunton Moose Lodge. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, loved the outdoors, camping, riding his four-wheeler and hanging out with his sister he called Little Buddy.
In addition to his father and mother of Staunton survivors include a sister, Victoria Renea Knight at home; a half-brother, Lewis E. Knight and his wife Donna of Staunton; a half-sister, Amanda Susan Adkins and her husband Terry of Craigsville; three close cousins, Jesse and Aaron Hawk and Matt Meadows; his best friend Lash Campbell; three nieces and a nephew also survive.
A funeral service for Danny will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday,
May 30, 2009, in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2009 in the funeral home and other times at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Knight, 144 Williams Cousins Road in Staunton.
Active pallbearers will be Lash Campbell, Joe Stuples, Jr., Marty Stuples, Stanley Stuples, Billy Martin, Rob Bergerner, and Victor Howdyshell.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton, is in charge of his arrangements.
