Cynthia Leigh Hodge, 46, of 533 Bloomer Springs Road, McGaheysville passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Ms. Hodge was born on July 13, 1969 in Staunton, a daughter of Wanda C. Monroe and the late Lee C. Hodge.
Surviving in addition to her mother of Raphine, is her fiance, Eddie Snyder of McGaheysville; maternal grandmother, Mabel Riley of Churchville; a son, Joseph A. (Halterman) Whitelaw of Lexington; two daughters, Karissa Nicole (Hodge) Woods and her husband Jeremy of McGaheysville and Brittany Renee Blackwell and her fiance Chris Huff of Raphine; a step-son, Wallace L. Blackwell of Staunton; a brother Kenneth Lee Hodge of Raphine; two sisters, Christine Hinkle and her husband Curtice and Melissa Curry of Churchville; a half-sister, Tonya Hodge of Churchville; a granddaughter, Kayla Woods; special friends, Wally Blackwell, Marsha Wimmer, Susan Shifflett, Jennifer Sprouse, Denise Davis, Julia (Theresa) Bell and Ann Smith also survive.
The family will receive friends anytime at the home of her mother, 8340 N. Lee Highway, Raphine.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2016 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Harold L. Wade.
