Curtis Lynn Reed

Curtis Lynn Reed, 48 of Leesburg Pike, Falls Church and formerly of Staunton, died Monday, (September 29, 2008) in the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Curtis was born July 20, 1960 a son of Eugene L. Buddy and Geraldine (Phillips) Gerri Reed.
Mr. Reed attended Riverheads High School and was a self-employed contractor, working in the Falls Church and D.C. areas.
In addition to his parents of Waynesboro, Curtis is survived by a son, Ryan Patrick Reed of Aiken, South Carolina; four brothers, Eugene L. Reed, Jr. and his wife Kim of Staunton, Kenneth C. Kenny Reed and his wife Tina of Greenville, Keith C. Reed of Staunton and Mark C. Reed of Waynesboro; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, (October 4, 2008) in the Jollivue United Methodist Church by the Rev. Thomas W. Reynolds. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
