Coral Anna (Cartwright) Foster, 71, formerly of Bridgewater passed
away Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in Envoy of Staunton.
Carol was born on November 20, 1944 in South Africa, a daughter of the late Arthur Lennox and Coral Yvonne (Coetzee) Cartwright.
Mrs. Foster was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Waynesboro and prior to her declining health, Mrs. Foster was the church choir director. She enjoyed playing the piano, organ and researching her family genealogy. Coral was retired from Harrisonburg Redevelopment Housing Authority where she was employed as a secretary.
Surviving is a brother, Frank Cartwright of Maine; a number of nieces and nephews and her many church family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Coffman Funeral and Crematory.
A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2016 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Waynesboro by Bishop Michael L. Swinson.
Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Josh Cypher, Skyler Walker, Michael Swinson, Jonathan Swinson, Rob Harada, David Wright and William Wright.
