Clyde Edward Boggs, 80, husband of Shirley Irene (White) Boggs, of 71 Mine Branch Road, Crimora, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mr. Boggs was born on March 10, 1934 in Clay County, West Virginia, a son of the late Jacob S. and Alice (Davis) Boggs.
Clyde was an United States Army Veteran, serving his country proudly during the Korean Conflict and was retired from Con-Agra Frozen Foods after twenty-seven years of service. Mr. Boggs was a very compassionate man of God, who loved the Lord, Family and Friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Boggs was preceded in death by his son, Gary Boggs; a great-granddaughter, Chloe M. Sprouse; four brothers, Roscoe Boggs, Herbert Boggs, Leonard Boggs and David Boggs; and his sister, Linda Boggs.
Mr. Boggs is the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 55 years are three daughters; Dianna Miracle and her husband David of Greenville, Janice Boggs of Crimora and Carolyn Burt and husband Keith of Fishersville; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in Oaklawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens by Mr. Boggs son-in-law, Pastor David Miracle.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
