Clarence Avis C.A. Seekford, 58, husband of Brenda K. Seekford, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.
Mr. Seekford was born January 7, 1955, in Luray, VA, a son of Robert L. Seekford, Sr., and the late Janet Virginia (Cline) Seekford.
Mr. Seekford was employed by Branch Highway Construction. He was an avid Redskins and NASCAR fan, and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports.
Surviving in addition to his father of Luray; and his wife, Brenda of thirty-four years; is a son, Jonathan L. Seekford of Staunton; two daughters, April L. Seekford-Stokes of Craigsville, and Wendy Seekford of Staunton; two brothers, Robert L. Seekford, Jr. of Ohio and Brian K. Seekford of Luray; a sister, Ann Jarvis of Luray; and seven grandchildren, Brianna Stokes, Dakota Stokes, Blake Stokes, Diego Hernandez, Feliza Hernandez, Jordan Romero, and Lorenzo Romero.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 21, 2013 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Donald Long.
Burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery in Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
Active Pallbearers will be Carl Turner, Jeff Kaufman, Mike Madison and Chris Fitzgerald.
