Cindy Sue (Warren) Riley, 68, wife of Donald Eugene Riley, of Staunton, passed away on Wednesday August 18, 2026 in the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

Mrs. Riley was born in Flint, Michigan on July 11, 1958, the daughter of the late Robert E. Warren and Anna M. (Slayton) Warren.

Cindy grew up in Grand Blanc, Michigan, surrounded by her loving family. She remembered her childhood with fondness and treasured the happy memories she made with her family. She attended Grand Blanc High School and, after graduating, worked in several restaurants before beginning her career in the healthcare field. Cindy worked at Western State Hospital for many years before retiring.

In her spare time, Cindy enjoyed visiting the park and feeding the squirrels, crocheting, and watching cooking and game shows.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Riley was preceded in death by two brothers, Marty Warren and Robert Warren; and a sister, Terry Kraszewski.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, is a daughter, April Marie Ethridge; and a brother, Delton Warren of MI.

In keeping with Cindy’s wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
