Chester Carl Taylor, 75, of Churchville, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Taylor was born on August 25, 1946, son of the late Tivis Colley Taylor and Letha (Ball) Taylor.

Chester was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Christian; a brother, Dewitt Taylor and two sisters, Pearl Peters and Mary Ellinger.

Surviving, are three sons, Dennis Taylor and his wife Vickie, Wayne Taylor and Stanley Taylor; a daughter, Vanessa Cropp; and three sisters, Barbara Starks, Blanche Howdyshell, and Donna Campbell.

A private graveside service will be held in Oaklawn Memory Gardens in Staunton.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
