Charlotte Lee Lovegrove's Obituary

Charlotte Lee (Lamb) Lovegrove, 72, widow of Wilbur Miley Lovegrove, of Staunton, passed away Friday, October 9, 2009 in the Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Fishersville.
Mrs. Lovegrove was born in Augusta County on February 17, 1937 a daughter of the late Tony R. and Marie L. (Fry) Lamb.
Charlotte was a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church and retired from the American Safety Razor on May 1, 2005 with thirty-seven years of service.. She will be remembered for her gift of socializing, doing word search, eating out with her family and her love for crocheting.
In addition to her parents and her husband who passed away on February 2, 2005, Mrs. Lovegrove was also preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Loraine Pete Rowe.
Surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel L. Danny and his wife Karen Jean (Cline) Lovegrove of Churchville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles Charlie Lamb and his wife Sara Ann of Greenville and Larry W. Lamb and his wife Wanda of Mint Spring; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy L. Botkin and her husband Raymond of Churchville; two grandchildren, William Dean Lovegrove and his wife Micki Alyson of Tennessee and Amanda Danielle DeVenny and her husband Matthew of Centreville; two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Caitlin Lovegrove; a number of nieces and nephews and very special caregivers, Danielle Johns and Mary Jane Carter also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2009 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Randy Simmons.
Burial will follow in the Hebron Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be William Dean Lovegrove, Jimmy Lovegrove, Edward Lovegrove, Charles Lamb, Larry Lamb, John Withers, Matthew DeVenny, Charlie McThenia and Dennis Hevener.
Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Lovegrove, Blake Scott, Raymond Botkin and friends and family attending the service.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2009 in the funeral home and other times the residence of her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Karen Lovegrove, 519 Hotchkiss Road, Churchville.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 1920-H Medical Ave., Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
