Charlotte M. Griffin

STAUNTON:

Charlotte Mae (Altizer) Griffin, 69, formerly of Mint
Spring passed away Tuesday (June 2, 2009) in Envoy
Health of Staunton.
Charlotte was born July 9, 1939 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Arnold G. and Mary Virginia Altizer.
She is survived by a devoted grandson, Brandon Taylor of Waynesboro; two daughters, Ruth G. Marcum of Staunton and Mary Lena Clark of Waynesboro; two sisters, Isabelle ONeil and Peggy Altizer both of Staunton; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a special friend, Gracie Hunt also survives.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 6, 2009, in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Merle Dodson.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Burial was private.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
