Charles Rudolph Vest, 94, formerly of Windemere Drive, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023 at the Legacy at North Augusta in Staunton.

Mr. Vest was born in Staunton, Virginia on July 26, 1929, a son of the late Grover Cleveland and Helen (Hevener) Vest.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Vest was preceded in death by his son, Charles R. Vest, Jr.

Surviving, is his loving wife of 74 years, Harlene (Price) Vest.

Charles was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War and retired after over 30 years from Genesco.

A private graveside service will be conducted in Augusta Memorial Park by Pastor Jack Glover.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
