Charles E. Moore, Jr.
STAUNTON:
Charles Everett Chuck Moore, Jr., 41 of 1220 West Beverley Street, Staunton passed away tragically Monday, (March 9, 2009) at his residence.
Chuck was born on January 3, 1968 in Falls Church a son of Charles E. Moore, Sr. and Loretta Kay (ODell) Moore.
Mr. Moore was a carpenter, working with his father at C \u0026 L Construction, he enjoyed music, baseball, fishing, football and especially enjoyed and was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins. He attended Middlebrook Church of God.
In addition to his father of Churchville and his mother of Staunton, Chuck is survived by his step mother, Mrs. Linda A. Moore; two bothers and sisters-in-law, John T. Moore and his wife Janet of Stephens City, Philip H. Moore and his wife Delinda of Stafford; a sister and brother-in-law, Debora K. Booth and her husband Charles of Belington, West Virginia; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mazel Irene ODell of White Post, Virginia; his companion and close friend, Connie Lotts; and his pet dog Jake.
A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m Friday, (March 13, 2009) in the Union Presbyterian Church by the Rev. H. Richard Travis. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening in the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 p.m.
Active pallbearers will be his brothers, Philip Moore and John Moore, Charles Booth, Charles Booth, II, Thomas Moore, George Moore, Jr., Curtis Tompkins and Richard Croushorn.
