Charles "Leon" Miller, 78, husband of Anna Bell (Brooks) Miller, of Mount Solon, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

Mr. Miller was born in Virginia on August 6, 1946, the son of the late James William Miller and Mable Belle (Gilmer) Miller.

Leon retired from Alcoa and was a member of the Verona Moose Lodge 2172 and the Staunton Fraternal Order of the Eagles 680.

Mr. Miller was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Miller was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Virginia "Millie" Vey.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of over twenty years, is a step-daughter, Dana Lawrence and her husband, Larry of Churchville; two grandchildren, Ciara Bayne and her husband, Cody, and Casey Lawrence; and two great-grandchildren, Caroline and Clark Bayne.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
