CHARLES EDWARD BEITH
Charles Edward Beith 69, husband of Joan Myra (Voisey) Beith, of 1636 Mulberry Street, passed away Sunday morning (December 21, 2008) at his residence.
Mr. Beith was born in South Sioux City, Nebraska a son of the late Edward and Josephine (Patterson) Beith.
Charles was a member of the Saint Johns Evangelical Catholic Church in Waynesboro, was retired as a mail carrier from the United States Postal Service and was owner and operator of a small antique business. Mr. Beith was also an U.S. Army Veteran.
In addition to his wife to whom he married on April 12, 1969 survivors include two sons, Kelly Edward Beith of Waynesboro and Alan Robert Beith of Raleigh, N.C.; a step-son, Thomas Lovvorn of El Cajon, Calf.; three brothers, Donald Beith of Cookeville, Tenn., Wayne Beith of Destin, Fla. and Terrance Beith of St. George, Utah; two sisters, Judy Elliott of Muleshoe, Tx. and Maxine Osborne of El Cajon, Calf.
A funeral mass will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, (December 26, 2008) in the Saint Johns Evangelical Catholic Church in Waynesboro by Father Rolo B. Castillo.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church Fellowship Hall.
In honoring his request, Mr. Beith will be buried at sea.
