Charles Leonard Ayers's Obituary
Charles Leonard Ayers, 81 a Staunton resident since 1963, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2010.
He was born in Covington, Virginia on November 9, 1928 and was preceded in death by his parents, Alice Matheny Ayers and John Henry Ayers.
Charles retired as Vice President of Engineering from the CFW Telephone Company on February 1, 1993, after 41 years of service.
He is survived by three daughters, Cortney and her husband Tom Nelli of Fishersville, Carol and her husband David OPray of Stuarts Draft and Kelley and her husband Scott Benedict of Quantico. He is also survived by two special grandchildren, Maxwell and Molly Benedict and a sister, Mildred Deacon and her two children, Melinda and Michele all of Louisiana.
In honor of Charles wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
