Charlene Louise (Sensabaugh) Kerby, 78, wife of Lemuel Sidney Kerby of Stuarts Draft passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 in Fishersville.
Mrs. Kerby was born on October 14, 1942 in Stuarts Draft, Virginia, a daughter of the late Samuel G. and Louise (Conner) Sensabaugh.
Charlene was a lifetime member of Calvary United Methodist Church, she graduated from Wilson Memorial High School in 1960, and was employed for fifty-one years as a dental assistant and office manager. She enjoyed camping, cooking, and dearly loved her great-granddaughters.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kerby was preceded in death by a son, Mark S. Kerby; two brothers, Robert M. "Bobby" Sensabaugh and Samuel W. Sensabaugh; and three sisters, Shirley Fravel, Peggy Simmons, and Jean Cash.
Surviving in addition to her husband of fifty-nine years, are two grandsons, Justin M. Kerby and daughter, Luna and Jeremy S. Kerby and his wife Brittany and daughter, Charlotte; daughter-in-law, Gina K. Henderson and husband Jeff, all of Stuarts Draft; a sister, Heber Coffey of Ruckersville; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Those desiring may pay their respects from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A private graveside service will be held in Calvary United Methodist Church Cemetery by Pastor David Vaughan.
