Charlene Kay (Cash) Kolland, 62, wife of Paul Francis Kolland of 183 Farmington Drive, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 at her residence after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. Kolland was born August 21, 1950 in Staunton, a daughter of Ada (McCoy) Cash and the late William Onie Cash.
Mrs. Kolland was a homemaker, manager of the San Antonio Rape Crisis Center, a Bartender and worked part-time as a CNA. She enjoyed reading and cooking.
Surviving, in addition to her mother of Staunton and her husband of forty-three years, are two daughters; Kimberley A. Kolland-Thompson and her husband Scott of Gilbert, AZ and Stacey V. Turner of Staunton; a brother, Richard Cash of Staunton; two sisters, Donna (Cash) Gleason and Billie (Cash) Salisbury both of Baltimore, MD; six grandchildren, Taylor Martin, Alexander Kolland, Mikayla Turner, Hunter Thompson, Brooke Thompson and Bryen Martin.
At her request, all services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mrs. Charlene Kay Kolland to the American Cancer Society, 42 Neff Avenue, Suite 210, Harrisonburg VA 22801.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
