Carson Gary Moran, 84, husband of Elaine (Bradley) Moran, of Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.

Mr. Moran was born in Augusta County on January 15, 1938, a son of the late Ernest Moran and Charlene (Dedrick) Moran Penney.

Mr. Moran was a member of Pines Chapel Presbyterian Church and a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War. Carson retired in 1997 from G.E./Genicom, where he was employed as an Electronic Technician. He was a family man and loved all their time together.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 62 years, are three daughters, Stacey Moran and husband Scott Warholic, Denise Moran, and Fonda Davis and husband Tim; two brothers, Dean Moran and wife Juanita and Raye Penney and wife Mary.

A Graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 11, 2022 in the Pines Chapel Presbyterian Cemetery in Greenville by Derek Almarode.

The family will receive friends following the service in the church.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
