Carolyn Wanda (Reed) Burdette, 86, of Staunton, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

She was preceded in death by three sisters: Micky Campbell (Glinda), Charlene Hinkle, and Sissy Reed (Diane) and one brother, Samuel Reed.

She is survived by her four children, Phoebe Sigmon (Wayne), John Lyle Vines, Jr, Penny Vines, and April Vines.  Also, three grandchildren, Misty Johnson (Robert), Curtis Sigmon, and Hannah Eltringham; one brother, Harry M. Reed Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was loved and appreciated by all who knew her.  A lover of beautiful flowers and all animals, she will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.

A private memorial service will be held in the spring.
