Carol Ann Dewald, 68, wife of Christopher John Chris Dewald of 31 Hillandale Drive passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville.

Mrs. Dewald was born on August 18, 1948 in Washington, DC, a daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Rheingruber) Embrey.

Surviving in addition to her husband of forty years, are three sons, Robert Dewald and Sharon Lucero, John Dewald, and Christopher Dewald and Crystal Goode; four grandchildren, Adrielle Dewald, Peyton Dewald, Skilyn Dewald, and Sylvia Lucero; eight brothers; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

A Celebration of life will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. William Bill Trice.

Burial will follow the service in Thornrose Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be family and friends.
