STAUNTON:
Carlos Jerome Smith, 21, of 1821 Vinson Street passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in the Brian Center of Fincastle in Fincastle, Virginia.
Carlos was born in Roanoke on May 22, 1991, a son of Elwood Lee Smith of Richmond and Carmen Viola Jenkins of Harrisonburg.
Carlos graduated from Lee High School in 2010, he was a laborer in the production department with Vector Industries, a member of the Roanoke Chapter of M.D.A. and was a avid Redskin fan.
In addition to his parents, Carlos is survived by his adopted mother, Rebecca E. Eutsler of Staunton; a brother, Joshua A. Smith of Staunton; two sisters, Jessica L. White of Waynesboro and Yolanda Jones and her husband Chris of Verona; paternal grandmother, Brenda L. Smith of Waynesboro; maternal grandmother, Diana Eutsler of Staunton; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
A Memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012 in Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Bobby Campbell.
Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends following the service.

Muscular Dystrophy Association, 4502 Starkey Road, Roanoke VA 24018.
