Brownie Wilson Randolph, Jr., 81, widower of Sandra Rose “Sandy” (Rivenback) Randolph of Staunton passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Commonwealth Senior Living in Charlottesville.
Mr. Randolph was born in Craigsville, Virginia on May 26, 1944 the son of the late Brownie Wilson Randolph, Sr. and Mamie Frances (Byers) Randolph.
He was a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church and faithfully volunteered alongside his wife throughout the church community. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching westerns, playing cards with family and friends, cheering on Virginia Cavaliers sports, and listening to The Statler Brothers. Above all, he was a proud and loving father to his two daughters, who brought him his greatest joy.
Surviving are his two daughters, Drew Ellen Gogian and Cynthia Randolph Pryor and her husband, Edward, and a number of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:30 p.m. on what would have been his 82nd birthday, Tuesday, May 26, 2026 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Stewart McCarter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Brownie’s memory, to the Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 300, Charlottesville, Virginia 22911.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
