Brittany Nicole Botkin, 19, of 325 Hankey Mountain Highway, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 in the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

Miss Botkin was born on September 28, 1998 in Harrisonburg, a daughter of Nancy (Southard) Botkin and the late Raymond Francis Botkin.

Brittany was a 2017 graduate of Buffalo Gap High School and was currently attending Blue Ridge Community College. She was employed by Food Lion and worked in the deli. She enjoyed animals and was a lively young lady with many friends who loved her. Brittany became an organ donor when she obtained her driver's license, even with her passing, she is helping others through her gift of organ donation.

Surviving in addition to her mother, is a sister, Janet Fay Botkin of Churchville; special friends, Falena Black and Kim Sheffer; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and "her Pets".

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

A Celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2018 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Ron Ronneberg.

Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery in Churchville.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
