Brian Dean Shifflett, 43, of Waynesboro, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Shifflett was born in Waynesboro, Virginia on March 18, 1980, the son of Diana Wilmoth Shifflett and the late Mitchell Dean Shifflett.

Brian was a graduate of Wilson Memorial High School and Nashville Auto Diesel College and enjoyed fishing.

In addition to his father, Mr. Shifflett was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Wilmoth.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, is his grandmother, Louise Wilmoth; an aunt, Julie Sheffer and her sons, Matthew and Jonathan Sheffer; an uncle, Steve Wilmoth and his family; and special friends, Chris Wood and Tommy Bowles.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
