Brian Derek Harrison, 45, of 401 Prospect Street, Parkwood Apartments C-1 passed away Friday, November 11, 2016 in the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
Mr. Harrison was born on May 6, 1971 in Waynesboro, a son of Margaret (Shumate) Harrison and the late William David Harrison.
Brian was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Virginia Tech football fan, he enjoyed fishing and prior to his declining health he enjoyed riding motorcycles.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Staunton, is a daughter, Trinity Almarode and her husband Matt of Louisa; a brother, Shawn P. Harrison of Staunton; two grandchildren, Jordan Almarode and Chanel Almarode; three aunts, Patricia Stuart, Judy Eller and Linda Hill; and a number of cousins also survive.
A Memorial service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2016 in the Faith Point Christian Center by Ann Ashworth. The family will receive friends a half-hour prior to the service and other times at the residence.
The family wishes to express a special Thank You to the Staunton Fire Department and the Staunton-Augusta Rescue Squad.
