Brent Douglas Schleicher, 65, husband of Dawn (Rodgers) Schleicher of 9 Manton Lane passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Schleicher was born on June 25, 1951 in New York, New York, a son of the late Kurt Walter and Mable (Crawford) Schleicher.
Brent was retired from Canteen Vending and was a former member of the Old Car Club.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Schleicher was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Schleicher.
Surviving in addition to his wife of seventeen years, are three sons, Norman Alloway, III, Kristopher Alloway both of Verona and Shane Alloway of Indiana; a daughter, Nani Fitzgerald of Swoope; a brother, Bruce Schleicher and wife Janet of Christiansburg; two sisters, Cynthia Miksell of Lynchburg and Brenda Kiernan and husband Brian of Charlottesville; step-mother, Edith Schleicher of Waynesboro; four grandchildren, Maddy, Donivan, Kylie and Alex; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
