Brendan Michael Wilkinson, 89, widower of Marie Wilkinson passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 at his residence in Staunton.
Mr. Wilkinson was born February 9, 1930 in Lancashire, England, a son of the late Thomas and Alice Ann Wilkinson.
Brendan and his family immigrated to the United States in 1967. He was an aviator with the Royal Air Force before becoming an engineer. Following retirement, he toured the world with his wife, Marie.
In addition to parents and wife of sixty-four years, Mr. Wilkinson was preceded in death by a son, Tony; a daughter, Anita; and three sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Paul B. Wilkinson and his wife Mary of Raphine and Bryan J. Wilkinson and his wife Connie of Salem; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2019 in Thornrose Cemetery beside his beloved wife, Marie by the Reverend Patrick Malphrus.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of his arrangements.
