Brenda (Whitlock) Lynn Vanfossen's Obituary
Brenda (Whitlock) Lynn VanFossen, 67, wife of Allan VanFossen of 1206 Stoneburner Street passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at the VCU Medical Center, Richmond.
Mrs. VanFossen was born November 14, 1946 in Richmond, a daughter of the late Finley Harvey and Mamie (Rogers) Whitlock.
Brenda was employed as a clerk for the Virginia ABC store for 18 years.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. VanFossen was preceded in death by her first husband James S. Lynn.
Surviving family members include her husband of 28 years; two sons, Jason Lynn, Sr. and finance Stephanie Thacker, and Jeremy Lynn and wife Michelle, all of Staunton; and a grandson, Jason Lynn, Jr.
A graveside service will be conducted 12:00 Noon, Saturday, September 27, 2014 in Thornrose Cemetery by Tim Rawely.
The family will receive friends thirty minutes before the service.
Active pallbearers will be family and friends attending the service.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
