Brandon Miles Haggard's Obituary

Brandon Miles Haggard, 25, husband of Courtney R. (Lehnhoff) Haggard of 2001 First Street, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013, at his residence.

Brandon was born July 14, 1988 in Staunton, a son Tammy Lee (Haggard) Grimm.

Brandon lived his life to his fullest. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an officer at the Augusta Correctional Center and an avid outdoorsman. He liked to hunt, fish, play corn hole and all out door sports including four-wheeling of any kind which was his favorite.

He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Josh A. Lehnhoff.

Surviving in addition to his mother and his wife of four years is his step-father, Alan Grimm, also of Swoope; a son, Wyatt A. Haggard; two brothers, Cody L. Johnson and his wife, Zarah and Tristan H. Grimm all of Swoope; maternal grandparents, Chuck and Connie Haggard of Staunton; paternal step-grandparents, Carl and Debbie Grimm of Churchville; mother-in-law, Dianne Anderson and husband Richard of Staunton; father-in-law, Darwin Lehnhoff and wife Donna of Minnesota; sister-in-law, Lindsy Lehnhoff; an aunt, Danielle Sacra and her husband Kris; uncles, Troy Grimm and his wife Lori and Frank Arietta and his wife Shranda; nieces; Kaylee Johnson and Vanessa Bly; nephews; Masin and Braydin Morz and his best friend, Derek Hudnall also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2013 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Todd Yoder.

Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery in Churchville.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2013 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home of his mother and step-father, 1149 Little Calf Pasture Highway in Swoope.

Active pallbearers will be Derek Hudnall, Chris Armstrong, Josh Campbell, Curtis Rankin, Anthony Talbott, Kenny Puffenbarger, Travis Booth and Jon Shenk.

Honorary pallbearers are and Zac Bright and Malcolm Griffin.

It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to Wyatt Andrew Haggard Trust Fund, c/o Dupont Community Credit Union, 140 Lucy Lane, PO Box 1365, Waynesboro, VA 22980.
