Bonnie Jean (Ord) Rhodes, 85, of 40 Rockport Drive, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mrs. Rhodes was born on January 11, 1932 in Greenbrier, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Clarence A. and Lelia Margaret (Harvey) Ord.

Mrs. Rhodes attended Montezuma Church of the Brethren, previously worked at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg and retired in February of 1994 from Western State Hospital where she was employed as a registered nurse for twenty-two years.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rhodes was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverley Starr Sheets.

Surviving is a son, Samuel L. Rhodes of Bridgewater; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, James Richard Ord of Inwood, West Virginia; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
