Beverly Ann (Ross) Stone, 86, widow of Michael Etienne Stone, of Fisher Circle, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Stone was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on February 17, 1935, a daughter of the late Hugh Alexander Ross, Sr. and Charlotte (Harvey) Ross.

In 2004, Beverly moved to Staunton from Arlington and immediately became very active in the Staunton Community, especially her church, Trinity Episcopal. She was a member of the Noon Lunch Program and Trinity Cares. She was active in the American Legion Post #13 Ladies Auxiliary, and she enjoyed classical music and was an avid opera fan.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Povenmire.

Surviving is a son, Edward R. Stone; a daughter, Patricia A. Michael and husband Todd both of Staunton; two brothers, Hugh Alexander Ross, Jr. of Connecticut, and Kenneth Harvey Ross and wife Georgieanne of New Jersey; two grandchildren, Kenneth and Brian Michael; two great grandchildren, Liam and Oaklynn; five nieces, Susan, Carol, Elizabeth, Gina, and Andrea; and four nephews, Ross, Jim, Scott, and Carl.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 214 W Beverley Street, Staunton by Rev. A.J. Heine.

Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery.
