Beulah "Helen" (Hott) Jarvis, 85, widow of John Junior Jarvis, previously of Middlebrook, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Blue Ridge Christian Home, Beulah Land Campus in Raphine.

Mrs. Jarvis was born in Pendleton County, West Virginia on November 13, 1937, a daughter of the late Thurman Blake Hott and Belva Hill (Bowers) Hott of Middlebrook.

Helen was a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Walkers Creek. She retired from Genesco-L- Greif Company in Verona with over 30 years of service. She enjoyed helping several church and local organizations prepare community dinners as well as cooking and baking for her family and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband of sixty-three years, Mrs. Jarvis is preceded in death by a sister, Ida Alleta (Hott) Jarvis and her husband, Raymond William Jarvis.

Surviving, is a sister, Twila June and her husband, Fred Decker, of Staunton; a brother, William Lynn Hott and his wife, Lisa, of Middlebrook; an uncle, Sheldon Bowers and his wife, Joan, of Mint Springs; a sister-in-law, Mildred Jarvis of Staunton; and a number of nieces and nephews that she held a close place in her heart for.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 23, 2023 in Immanuel Presbyterian Church by Pastor David Taylor.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Mrs. Jarvis's nephews; Dale, David, and Danny Grimm, Jerry Jarvis, Jeff and Steve Tuennerman, Scott, Tim and Neil Decker.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Helen's memory to Immanuel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, c/o Brenda Nuckoles, 4551 Walkers Creek, Middlebrook, VA 24459.

The family would like to express a sincere "Thank you" to Dr. Marsh and the staff at the Beulah Land Campus of Blue Ridge Christian Home for the excellent care they provided to her over the last ten months.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
