Betty Lee (Parrish) Wade, 84, widow of Claude Hartman Wade formerly of Audubon Street, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mrs. Wade was born on May 5, 1932 in Staunton, a daughter of the late Guy B., Sr. and Mattie (Robertson) Parrish.
Betty attended Christ United Methodist Church and was retired from Boyds Hairdresser where she was employed as a beautician for over 40 years. She enjoyed crocheting and word puzzles.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Wade was preceded in death by a brother, Guy B. Parrish, Jr. and four sisters, Helen Cason, Alma Bell Simmons, Kathleen Coyner and Dorothy Knott.
Mrs. Wade was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving are a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
At Bettys request, all services will be private.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
