Betty Lee (Coyner) Matchett, 80, wife of Gerald "Jerry" Matchett, Jr. of Staunton, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mrs. Matchett was born on January 15, 1938 in Stuarts Draft, a daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret (Chandler) Coyner.

Surviving in addition to her husband, is a son, David Matchett of Delaware; a daughter, Mary Matchett of Staunton; two grandchildren, Jacob Garbe and Cameron Pile; a brother, Richard Coyner and wife Janet, and a sister, Nancy Beyeler, all of Stuarts Draft.

In keeping with Mrs. Matchett's wishes, there will be no public services.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
