Betty Ann (Bosserman) Price, 71, widow of George Roscoe Price, Sr., of 952 Quicks Mill Road passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mrs. Price was born August 24, 1938 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Clyde E. and Mary Belle (Rexrode) Bosserman.
Betty was a member of Calvary Assembly of God church and mostly recently was employed with Bennies Shoe Store as a sales clerk. She was formerly employed with Genesco-L-Grief Company. Betty enjoyed sewing, boating and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Betty was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Tom Bosserman and two sisters, Dot Ailer and Mazy Law.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, George R. Price, Jr. and his wife Colleen B. and Jeffrey L. Price all of Staunton; three brothers and four sisters-in-law, Jerry Bosserman and his wife Faye of Churchville, Jimmy Bosserman and his wife, Linda of WVA and Donnie Bosserman and his wife Barbara of Craigsville; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Sylvia Ralston and her husband Tommy of Staunton, Barbara Hayes of Crimora, Nancy Bosserman of Appomattox and Linda Botkin of Staunton;
a sister-in-law, Peggy Bosserman of Millboro Springs; and five grandchildren, Hunter A. Price, Walker A. Price. Autumn C. Price, Dakota R. Price and Eva Genee Brown.
The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. this evening, June 2, 2010 in the funeral home and other times at the residence of her son and daughter-in-law, George and Colleen of 954 Quicks Mill Road, Staunton.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Kevin Persinger.
Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Brian Straway, Jeff Bosserman, Tony Bosserman, Mark Bosserman, Kevin Bosserman and Wayne Bartley.
