Betty Faye (Aldredge) Dean, 76, widow of Joseph Dean, of Staunton, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 in Brookdale at Staunton.

Mrs. Dean was born on September 28, 1941 in West Virginia, a daughter of the late Baker W. and Carrie M. (Howerton) Aldredge.

Betty was a loving and caring foster parent with People Place's.

Surviving are her children, Mike Johnson and his wife Dianna and Beth Benson; a brother, Claude F. Aldredge; a sister, Theresa A. White; grandchildren, Izaah and Makayla Marshall.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

A Celebration of life will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Terry Kent with burial following in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.

Active pallbearers are A.T. Hostetter, Steve Barnhardt, David Hoover, Jeff Organ, Wayne Godby, and Vincent Banks.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
