Bettie L. Campbell

Bettie Jane (Lucas) Gulley Campbell, 84, of 62 Scenic Highway, Churchville, VA, passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 in Kings Daughters Community Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Campbell was born July 12, 1927 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Marvin Jacob and Eloree (Shover) Lucas.
Mrs. Campbell was a member of Westview United Methodist Church. She enjoyed game shows, picnics and cookouts with her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her first husband Opal P. Gulley, her second husband, William B. Campbell, a brother Clinton Lucas and a sister Mary E. Lightner.
Mrs. Campbell was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survivors include two sons, Marvin S. Gulley and wife Barbara of Churchville, and Charles A. Gulley and wife Peggy of Verona. Three grandchildren Stephanie Gulley, Loma Lipscombe, and Brian Moats; two great grandchildren Jeff Erkel and Jason Erkel and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2012 in Hebron Presbyterian Church Cemetery by Pastor Bobby Campbell.
The family will receive friends anytime at the residence of her son Marvin and Barbara Gulley, 62 Scenic HWY, in Churchville. Friends may pay their respects anytime at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 43 Neff Ave., Suite 210, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
