Betsy Ann (Overbey) Price, 78, widow of Lyle Thomas Price of Staunton, passed away Monday, April 27, 2026 in Augusta Health, Fishersville.

Mrs. Price was born in Nelson, Virginia, on November 4, 1947 a daughter of the late Lacy Ray Overbey and Ernestine Ann (Miles) Overbey.

Betsy was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, an aide at Western State Hospital, she was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, and she enjoyed working crossword puzzles.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick L. Overbey and a sister, Hazel (Overbey) Miller.

Surviving is a daughter, Renee’ Overbey (Michael) of Alton, Virginia; two brothers, Gerald Overbey, (Bonnie) of Staunton and Leroy Overbey, (Pam) of Stuarts Draft; a sister, Kathy Rae Keeton of Terre Haute, Indiana; two grandchildren, Jaleesa Overbey, (Doniel Kitchen) and Sherman Logan, (Wendy Campbell); two great-grandchildren, Peyton Logan and Layla Watson; a brother-in-law, Bobby Miller of Bullock, North Carolina; a sister-in-law, Brenda (Cox) Overbey of Stuarts Draft; and special friends, Lucy H. Smith and Tim Cason.

A Celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2026 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. William “Bill” Trice.

The family will receive friends following the service.

Burial will be private in Augusta Memorial Park.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
