Beryl Glenwood Neff, Jr., 58, husband of Sharon L. (May) Neff of 215 Montgomery Road, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017, surrounded by his family and friends.
Mr. Neff was born on January 3, 1959 in Staunton, a son of the late Beryl Glenwood, Sr. and Ethel Mae (Bright) Neff.
Beryl was retired as a truck driver with Reo Distribution, he enjoyed working on lawn mowers, weed eaters or anything that needed fixing for his family and neighbors. Mr. Neff could fix anything and was considered a Jack of all Trades.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Elaine McMillian.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 36 years, is a son, Beryl Glenwood Neff, III and his wife Amanda of Waynesboro; two brothers, Danny Lee Neff, Sr. and his wife Sue of Christiansburg, and Phillip Emory Neff and his wife Suzanne of New Hope; a sister, Karen Ilene Neff of Staunton; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, September 4, 2017 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence.
Graveside Service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Augusta Memorial Park by Pastor Larry Strickler.
Active pallbearers will be Beryl G. Neff, III, Bob Simmons, Mark Neff, Brandon Neff, Dean Rimmer, and Randy Fainter.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
