Benjamin Samuel Ben Peachey, 82, widower of Susan (Troyer) Peachey of 1211 Cold Springs Road was received into Glory by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and reunited with his wife, Susan, on Monday, October 31, 2011.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Nelson Peachey; a daughter, Nancy (Peachey) Summy; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Left to honor his commitment to God and family are his children, Vernon and Mary Ann Peachey of Rochelle, VA, Edna and William Troyer of Crossville, TN, Martha and LeRoy Summy of Schellsburg, PA and Sadie and Alvin Yoder; a special daughter-in-law, Lydia and Harley Yoder and son-in-law, Edwin and Lena Summy all of Stuarts Draft; twenty-eight grandchildren; sixty great-grandchildren also survive.
Mr. Peachey was a skilled carpenter and craftsman. He operated a small poultry farm in Stuarts Draft for many years. He dedicated his life to the service of Jesus Christ and taught more by his actions then many can by word. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who called him Dad and Grandpa.
The family will receive friends at the Pilgrim Christian Fellowship Church of Stuarts Draft (corner of White Hill Road \u0026 Twin Hill Road) on Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A service will be held at the same location on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Pilgrim Christian Fellowship Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be his grandsons.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
