(Rosen) Arndt
January 9, 1942 – March 4, 2025
Barbara Ann (Rosen) Arndt, 83, formerly of Brandon Lane, Crimora, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Shenandoah Nursing and Rehab in Fishersville.
Mrs. Arndt was born in New Hope, Virginia on January 9, 1942, the daughter of the late Ollie Wilson Rosen and Ollie Mae (Caricoffe) Rosen.
Barbara retired from DuPont with over 30 years as an inspector. She was a true "people person," always enjoying the company of her grandchildren and cherishing her travels—especially to Hawaii, where she visited four times.
Mrs. Arndt was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Arndt was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen LaPrevotte; a brother, Alvin Rosen; and a sister-in-law, Billie Rosen.
Surviving, is a daughter, Beverly Moore and her fiancé, Thomas Bowen of Verona; a son, Stephen Morris and his wife, Sean of Rock Hill, S.C.; four grandchildren, Jennifer Minter of Goshen, and Joel Morris, Gabriel Morris, and Samuel Morris, all of Rock Hill, S.C.; and her beloved pet dogs, "Angel" and "Kami".
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Janet Elsea.
Burial will follow in New Hope United Methodist Cemetery.
It is suggested that those desiring make memorial contributions to the Verona Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 348, Verona, VA 24482.
