Barbara Anne (Hodge) Edwards, 82, wife of Kenneth Edwards, Sr., of Crimora, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mrs. Edwards was born in District of Columbia on December 4, 1941, a daughter of the late Charles E. Hodge, Sr. and Martha Hodge.

Barbara was a member of Redeeming Life Ministries, where she loved going to church. She had a servant's heart, loved the Lord, and was "sweet as honey".

Surviving, in addition to her husband of fifty-three years, are five children, Betty Harris (Bell), Margaret Anne Martinez, Debbie Bell, Richard Bell and Katina Edwards; step-son, Kenneth Edwards, Jr.; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and a brother.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Redeeming Life Ministries, 144 Christians Creek Road, Staunton.
